For sale is a handsome 7-year-old black and white paint horse gelding, standing at approximately 16 hands tall. He was born on our farm and has received 90 days of training in 2018. However, since then, he has only received occasional refreshers and lunge work.
Due to our busy schedules, we have not been able to provide him with consistent training. Although he is not aggressive, he can be forward and pushy, and tends to move at a faster pace than desired. Nonetheless, he is a quick learner and would make an excellent riding horse with proper, consistent training.
He holds a middle-ranking position in the herd and gets along well with other animals such as cows, sheep, goats, and pigs. He has had riders on his back last year for brief periods, showing no signs of bucking or rearing. However, we would not consider him fully trained. He is an easy keeper, healthy and sound, and thrives on regular pasture in warm months and grass hay in winter. The horse is located in Watertown, WI, and we are asking $2,000 in cash only.
